My photography journey began more than a decade ago, the same way so many of them do. I bought a nice camera and started taking photos of my young daughter. It was a passion that developed quickly and flourished into a business. But after several years of running a successful business, I decided to take break. I was in a rut creatively and the passion had gone. 

I tried several other careers and side gigs. I even had a brief stint as a real estate agent until the birth of my twins pushed me into VERY early retirement. But nothing lit that fire inside me like photography had.

So, in 2022, I decided to dive back in. All in. All the way. I'm learning so much all the time and pushing myself creatively. And I feel alive for the first time in years. I've fallen in love all over again.

When I’m not in “photog” mode, I am a homeschooling mama to 3 beautiful girls and a wife to my hard-working hubby. My other loves include gardening, cooking and homemaking, music and theater, and Jesus. Sprinkled with some coffee, good books, and true crime documentaries when I find the time.

I’m so grateful that I get to do what I love for a living. I'm grateful for all the amazing people I have met and even befriended over the years. I am inspired by your lives and your stories. And I absolutely cannot wait to see what the future holds.
